Optical Prototypes
Fabrication and testing of a prototype is a crucial step in any design process, and the same holds true for optical systems.
Optical Subassemblies works with a number of quick turn shops to quickly produce cost effective optical prototypes. In addition, its in-house testing capability comprised of a 2 meter Gaertner lens bench, a Zygo interferometer, optical tables with mounts and numerous other pieces of optical test equipment enable it to quickly verify the performance of a design and trouble shoot problems. Optical Subassemblies also has a shop outfitted with basic machine shop, sheet metal, glass working equipment and inspection tools which enable it to fabricate or modify fixtures and components quickly.
